Problems Registering VPL-XW7000ES
Has anyone successfully registered their XW series projectors using the Sony website? I have made several attempts and wasted at least a couple hours over the last few weekends trying to register my new projector and confirm the warranty details. Unfortunately to register you need to use their drop down menus and no matter which path you use (enter specific model or search by category) none of the XW projector models are there and the website will not let you proceed without it. "Infuriating" doesn't even come close to describing the process. And forget about trying to find an email address or phone number to actually speak to somebody, looks like Sony prefers to remain unreachable. Not impressed with the Sony Customer Service experience so far - should have stuck with my old Epson.

Hello LightFoot. Tried to reply to you via my email but it was kicked back.
Just wanted to thank you for your suggestion. Hadn't thought of these units as "Professional" being they are marketed as "Home Cinema" products.
I have already fired off an email to Sony customer support expressing my frustration however I will try again tomorrow to register via the "pro" category.
