Hello,
i have recently purchased the sony strdh190.cek stereo reciever.
Unfortunately it has arrived with a European two pin plug (type C - so no earth, double insulated).
i contacted the shop which sold it to me, they were unaware that it was that type of plug and have given me an adapter, however, i don't want to use the adapter as a permanent solution, therefore i am going to remove the plug and put a standard UK three pin plug on. voltage and frequency obviously match UK as we are all now harmonized...
any reason i cannot do this, and can anybody advise of the fuse size required (3A)
