I've had my Sony Xperia L1 for over a year. Last night it died, and when I connected it to a power source it didn't recognize it was connected to one (no solid red light). I tried different things such as cleaning out the connecting parts, using a different charger, using a different wall socket, but it still wouldn't charge. I went to sleep hoping it would recognize it during the night and charge. When I woke up, it was blinking a red light continuously, and still not turning on. When I unplug it, the red light stops. Please help!
i have the same problem few hours ago. i was playing a mmorpg then it went out of battery life. i tried turning it on while its on charging but the red light keeps on blinking. it was my first time so i dont know what to do with it but i dismantle the adapter, the charger, the plug and let my phone cool down first without charging. After eating and chatting down for hours, i went back to try to assemble them again. i think its the charger who is at fault. i just bought it but its not the same brand to my sony xperia l1 g3312. i keep on making the plug on motion then i tried to charge again, the red light stops blinking and its now charging back from 0%. atm
lesson learn for me:
1. buy same brand and legit charger
2. let it charge, do not use it while charging
3. if the charger doesnt work well, then change it. dont let it destroy ur phone.
thats it c:
I've tried 7 different Sony chargers wasting so much money on them yet this still happens. I brought this phone after having to replace the battery in my other one 4 times! Would have been cheaper to buy an iPhone at this point.
