How do I get my memory card to be registered by my phone?

your phone should recognize the SD card whenever you insert it, you could restart the phone and if that doesn't work use a file commander to access the SD card.

I think it may have been that the gb of the card was too large for the phone? It was a 124gb card.
I replaced it with a 32gb and it is working fine now.
