Yesterday, after having put off the Sony software updates for the past year, I decided to update the system software as my phone kept prompting me to.
Now, my Xperia L1 G3311 has been repeatedly turning off. It turns off at random, sometimes when I'm using it and sometimes when it's just left alone (in which case find out when I press the power button). I feel it must be a software issue because the phone is in pretty good nick. I bought it December 2018 and it has been working fine. The screen is not even scratched.
When I try to turn it back on, it gets to the white loading screens (at different stages, but normally just up to the first) before it turns off again. Sometimes it turns itself on and off constantly and I press the lock button and the volume-up key to force it to turn off. Today, it started doing the same and when I tried to turn it on, it gave me briefly a warning arrow which read "Your device has failed verification and will not work properly". It's not showing this error again, just the loading screen and refuses to turn on.
I wish now that I had not updated the system software. How can I fix this?
Furthermore, it has degraded to the point where it doesn't show anything now. It is 100% unresponsive. Any help would be great, thanks.
