My parents have a Sony KDL-26L4000 Bravia TV. Since analogue switch off, they have started using Freeview more, and have discovered that the red button interactive services don't work. I have retuned the TV, defaulted it, but still no red button. Subtitles work OK.
When you press the red button, the LED flashes on the front of the TV, but no red button banners appear. It is connected to the same aerial as a Phillips TV, which works OK for red button at the same time.
I remember that I heard some years ago that there was a software fault with these TVs, but does anyone have any ideas?
