No sound through external audio when watching internet tv

I have a KDL-60ex700 and a STR-dn1000 connected via HDMI.

Sound is through external audio (working fine) when watching normal tv but when connecting to Internet and watching Internet tv there is no sound via external audio. When shifting to audio via tv then I have sound ... but only through th tv speakers.

I would really like to get sound via external audio when watching Internet tv. How do I do that?

I have the same problem!  Surely Soney dont expect you to listen to the internet tv through the tv speakers only?
