Will my TV (Bravia Edge LED 42") support "Sony BDVE190 5.1"?

I haven't got a clue when it comes to home systems. But went through the specifications for the BDVE190. It says that it is 3D. Does that mean your TV has to be 3D or it is just a feature and can support all TVs? I know well that the TV at my house is just an EDGE LED.

Hi,

if your tv is not 3D you will not be able to use the 3D features of the player, should you wish to upgrade to a 3D tv later on then you will be able to play 3D movies, so the bottom line is the BDVE is a very capable 2D player and will work just fine with your tv.
