wireless headsets

I am trying to connect a set of wireless headphones to my tv and enable others in room to hear the tv.  I know this can be done as a friend told me about them.  I have a hearing problem and the hearing aids keep breaking and are not that good anyway. Does anyone know how to do this.

thats not going to help matters when your not watching tv is it?, get your GP to write to your local NHS authority to arrange an appointment with the hearing clinic, there you will get the latest digital aids available and unlees your doing extremely dangerous sports or contantly being beaten around the head they dont break either!
