I have just bought a Vaio VGN-FW21Z with full high definition capability (1920x1080 resolution). That' good, but you do not need always HD resolution, e.g. when you look at Internet pages on a 16,4” screen, page dimension and characters become very small and difficult to read. In this case 1280x1024 resolution is more appropriate and comfortable. Very surpricely on Vaio VGN-FW21Z you can only select screen resolution according to just to three alternatives 800x600, 1024x768 , 1920x1080. No intermediate choices (e.g. 1280, 1400, 1600) are available. The same does not happen with other FW series Vaio computers having lower (1600) resolution. We should conclude that HD computers cannot be use for internet browsing ? It seems simply uncredible. I hope to be wrong.
