HELP!! Individual key board keys!

 Hi everyone,
I've come across a little problem when i didn't think would be one?
My daughter was using my Vaio and somehow managed to lose the 'capslock' key with the spring thing underneath! Don't ask how. Mine's a PCG-K215M, does anyone know where to get another one from, i've tried ebay, but there only seems to be American sellers and i don't know the quivilant model for over there. There's no problem as everything works fine, just looks odd with it missing! I'd be grateful for any help from any angels out there.

Individual keys are not mean't to be removeable so I would bet a weeks pay that you will have to buy a whole keyboard.

Yeah I agree Mandy, it's not economical to make just keys for sale LOL

Well obviously they aren't going to make individual keys for sale lol. But they must get defective keyboards occasionally or whatever, most comapnies keep the working remnants (like keys) to sell off as spare parts precisely because they aren't made specially.

On the flip side of the coin at least the space and enter keys are intact - removing these like I did to an old Microsoft PS/2 USB keyboard tends to knacker them totally as they use two or more springs...

Hopefully some spare key remnants will turn up - maybe on eBay...

Hi all,
Well, I phoned thae Sony Vaio line and asked for their help.
To my surprise i was told "i'll have a work upstairs and see what they say.".
Didn't hear anything for a week, called up again, and got a job number from them and was told it had been posted. It took two weeks to arrive, and fitted perfectly!
So i think by all i've read on here i've been lucky, because looking for an individual key was like finding rocking horse cack!
Hope this helps somebody. Took the advice, if you don't ask...................Thanks.
