Problem with display/vga card on A115Z

A problem has occured with my a115z. When you picked up the laptop and moved it, you could hear a component that was broken off slide over the bottom, inside the laptop. It also manifested in distorted images. Of which i have a screenshot, but not online. Of course i sent the laptop to sony for repair, but only the first problem seems to be repaired. The distorted images (my guess: the loose component damaged the VGA card, ATI 9200) remain. Anyone else had something similar???

Yep as Twizted said, plenty of people not had Sony repair their computers properly. I've not seen anyone yet with bits falling off thei computers though.

It's not a common problem.

The thing is Sony are making it more expensive for themselves, these couriers are not cheap.

Well, the loose part inside the computer, so it 's not the LCD display is "dismembered" or something. On the outside it's in pristine shape, I am very carefull with it, but apparently the part just to decided it was time for a vacation. But you could clearly hear a small loose component inside floating around when you moved the laptop. Kind of freaky btw

Yeah I had something similar with a Dell. Who quite originally tried to blame it on me.

I missed my chance to give them hell cos we were getting a new one anyway. But yeah it obviously hadn't been fixed on properly :smileyconfused:. Whatever.
