I have a Sony VAIO SVF1531C5E which has a Broadcom BCM43142 Wireless Network Adapter.
The issue is everytime I wake the Laptop from Sleep mode the Wireless Network Adapter does not connect to my network and I have to disable the adapter and then enable it for it to connect again. The Wireless Network Adapter also fails intermittently during web surfing.
I have been in contact with sony support many times over this and have never been able to fix it.
A quick google search shows many sony vaio users with the Broadcom BCM43142 Wireless Network Adapter have had this issue. I have tried all the suggested settings and still the issue is there.

It is clear that this Broadcom BCM43142 Wireless Network Adapter is not fit for purpose and has known issues.
Sony gave me a new driver (6.30.223.201) but it didn't solve anything.
Sony Support please advise what my options are now?
