Hi, I am new to all this but I thought I would ask a question on here before contacting customer service !! I have a Sony Vaio laptop and its about 2 months old and today, out of the blue, the touch pad decided it would stop working properly, this has not happened before and it was working completely fine just before it happend, no settings or anything were changed.
The touchpad is still working but in a weird way, the main problem is that when I go to try and move the curser around a page (any page be it in google chrome, microsoft word etc) the curser turns into a 4 headed arrow and starts to scroll in and out of the page...I knew this was a function but it does it every time I go to move it and so this becomes a problem as I cannot move the curser around the page, sometimes it will work for a few seconds, then it reverts back to the problem !!
I have gone into the Pointing Device settings on my computer and checked all the settings, all of which appear fine and have not changed so any ideas on what could be the problem ?
