I could not find a search function in this forum:smileysad:, therefore I began a new topic.
When my Vaio Notebook (VGN-A295HP) and my WLAN Router are in the same room the wireless network falls from 48 MBit to 5-11 MBit. The only help is aluminum foil around the antenna of the Router:smileywink:. But this is not a solution because there are other computers in the WLAN (without that problem). The new WLAN-Driver (version 9.0.0.60) made the thing still worse by showing always a speed at least of 24 MBit, while the real speed falls under 5 MBit.
I tried to put another WLAN-PC-Card to the Notebook - no problems.
It would be interesting if I am the only user having that problem (like supposed by the hotline).
Does someone know a more elegant solution, without aluminum foil?
