VGN-S1XP boots fom sleep-mode and after booting return to sleep-mode

After I boot my VGN-S1XP from sleep-mode sometimes it goes to sleep-mode again by itself without doing anything! It seems like a normal boot but after finishing desktop it goes to sleep-mode. From 10 boots there are 2 or 3 with this strange activity. After reboot again it works normally.

Any ideas??

Are you using Windows XP SP2?

Yes, I use XP with SP2.

Have you checked Windows Update for patches?

There are no patches on microsoft-server. I found one on Vaio-place but XP said "you don´t need this update with SP2".

It may have to do with your power options settings.
Go to power options and check your power schemes tab. Check if you have enabled automated system standy-by or hibernation. Just an idea.

I have disabled the automated system stand-by and up to now I have had no more return to sleep mode after booting!! Hope it will stay! Thanks and Ciao
