WH-1000XM4 headphones paired/connected to Windows 10 PC via external Bluetooth adaptor, but no sound
Hello everyone, I'm having trouble using a pair of WH-1000XM4 headphones with a Windows 10 PC. They have paired and connected via an external Bluetooth adaptor, but when I select the headphones as the sound output source, I get nothing through the headphones. They work with my iPhone, so I know they're not faulty. The only thing I think it could be is the Bluetooth adaptor (Silicon Wave), which might not be able to transmit the sound back from the PC to the headphones, even though it is clearly good enough to allow the PC to recognise the headphones. Does anyone know what might be causing the problem?

Hello @dkaye43,
do other BT-headphones work? Did you check the audio-settings of Windows reg. the output device?
Did re-pairing the headphones resolve the issue?

Dear Nic,
Thanks for this reply too. I eventually managed to solve this problem, but more by accident than design. All has been working ok with them since.
