Can't move files to external SD card

Hi 

I bought a brand new SanDisk Ultra SD card and I can't move files to it using file explorer, windows or the built in file explorer! 

I get this error 

But I can transfer pictures and music using the option available in settings>storage! 

and I can create folders in the SD card without a problem 

I've tried mounting the card and unmounting it , rebooting the phone , formatting the card .. etc
