"com.android.phone stopped working" constantly pops up. There is no service provider detected.
I have cleared data and cache for phone services, restart in safe mode - problem persists. Factory reset done and still have the same issue.
Please help!
I put it in airplane mode. Tried doing the disabling part but couldn't lol
anyways after i turned off airplane mode my phone has been working, been about 2.5 hours now.
I discovered that its really the mobile data that seems to be going haywire.
After putting the phone in Airplane mode, I finally could access mobile data settings without crashing, then I turned mobile data off. Then disabled airplane mode.
I now have my mobile network and wifi working without any errors... Unfortunately, mobile data can no longer be used on the phone since last update!
Rollback or hotfix? Pretty please?
Yes, it's working. But that doesn't solve the issue. It will show up again.
Really hope they will fix it soon, I have called two times and did everything they told me but it didn't work.
Same problem since this morning, they said that they'll do a patch to fix this but they didn't say when
The only thing that seem to stop the pop-up is to turn off the mobile data....... i've also tried factory reset, delete cache of the phone app and the repair of the xperia compagnion.....
so for now if im not with wifi i have no connexion on internet...... doesnt look good. Need a new update soon i guess.....
Same issue here, tried repairing, factory reset, clear data and cache... nothing works. This is ridiculous, how can you release an update without making sure it will be okay, this needs to be fixed ASAP
Same here! Erase all caches and datas, close auto hours, clear all files, restart 10 times, reset factory 2 times. Nothing can be done! Even the Reset isn't helping! I brought the phone 1 month ago... Videotron in Quebec, have a garanty up to an 120mb upload... So, after a day and normal updates ...it's over! And now...thanks, my phone is dead because it's impossible to log to the net or receive call! (Sorry for my poor english). Anyway.... Hope you.ll do something ffast and not just close eyes like for the dead ps3 some years ago!
From the support chat :
"... After checking all the information, in this case the best resolution would be to perform a software repair process.."
I tried to reiterate to the tech support that many users are having problems even after the software repair and that it is indeed their software update. And they replied:
"... I understand but the resolution that I can offer you right now is to perform the software repair, or send the phone to the service center."
This is so frustrating. Has anyone had any luck?
Try turning on airplane mode. And after turning off mobile data. It stop the pop up.
I've turn on the data few minutes later and the pop up didnt show up for the moment, 2h for now.
