Do Not Disturb turns off of own accord

Had this issue with the XA and was looking forward to getting back to a compact thinking it was just a bug with the other phone.

Several times I have discovered my device has taken itself off the Do Not Disturb mode without me touching the volume key.  I do not have it on a timer in my settings.  I am aware you can set it so that it will end the Do Not Disturb mode at a certain time - this is not the case here. I like to have it on this mode permanently. But can't figure out why it keeps taking itself off it.

Any help would be great.

Could you test the phone in >>> safe mode for few hours? safe mode will disable third party apps that could be causing this

also go to

settings > about phone > which android version and build number does your phone has? and network operator and country

Thanks for the response. I'll try the safe mode option as you suggest - however how will I be able to see which of the apps could be causing this issue by putting it on safe mode?

I'm with 02 in the UK, Android version 7.0 and model no. F5321

Thanks.

In what way? I'm not sure what I'm meant to actually do or look for while the phone is in safe mode to find this out?

@Icarus2

boot on safe mode , use the phone for a couple of hours and see if you experience the same issue, if you don't then you will have to restart the phone to exit safe mode and uninstall apps one by one until you find the culprit.

Ah ok, thank you.

It's doing my head in. I got woken up by a message someone sent at 4.30am yesterday on my day off because the phone took itself off that setting. And I woke up to it again this morning.

I don't even have that many 3rd party apps on my phone at all.

Will try that and see what happens.
