I have a Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra and my little girl cracked the screen 6 months in, I GET IT its not covered by warranty. I called Sony and asked if I can pay for the repair and was told there is no one in the states they use to repair the screens. Are you Serious? Not even if I paid for the repair? No one in the whole Austin, TX, area works on them either so couldn't even find a repair shop willing to work on it. I fix the phone myself did everything correctly and after a software update now I'm having issues with my bluetoothe and wifi turning it on or finding cell reception at all. Sony said send it in. Then it gets sent back because I worked on the phone, now the phone constantly freezes and wifi bluetooth and cell reception does not work and no one to help fix it. This has been the worse customer experience I have ever had in my life especially with this being my first phone from Sony. I loved and still love the phone. Problem is that it no longer has any capability of being a phone anymore and really wish someone in Sony gave a dam about helping it's customers in some way. I whould have been able to be refferred to a repair shop or paid for the repair but now here I am with a useless shell.
