Sony Xperia XA1 won't turn on, red light

Hi guys, I bought my Sony Xperia XA1 brand new about 6 weeks ago and it now won't turm back on. I had around 93% battery when it randomly cut out and now there is a solid red light in the indication light. It wont reset with the power and volume button and it just isnt recognised when plugged into a computer so I can't reset it that way either. I'm stuck for what to do...

Hi @Amod90, welcome to the community. I am very sorry to hear about this issue Slightly_frowning_Face

If you are unable to perform the software repair using Xperia Companion then I suggest you contact your Local support team to arrange a repair assessment.

@JoshM66 if you manage to charge it, you should then try performing a software repair using PC Companion. if it doesn't fix the issue for you, then you probably should contact your Local support to arrange a repair.

How did you get the phone to turn on?

try pressing the "volume up button" & "power  button" together. hold it for about 10-15 seconds. You'll feel that the phone vibrates when it's powering back on.

In portugal , Vodafone costumer, wen sended to technical suport they say its not their foult... i have less then a year on my phone... it didn't start for 3 to 4 days and then te touch screen began to be faulty.
(first blackout in month 06 and again in about 2 weeks).
wen asked for repair , they said, "even without clear damadge on the screen some falls might be responseble for the problem" and wont fix it...
Its a shame, the phone has less then a year, and its a problem that has too many costumers complaning from it... how can they pretend to be nothing

Shame on Sony, never again
