The Sony Xperia XA1 is a cool phone with some awesome features. It would be great if I got to use them for more than a week. This phone is literally the weakest piece of technology I have ever owned. This screen stopped functioning properly after 2 weeks and the warranty loopholes were ridiculous. I would be without a phone for something like 2-3 weeks AND they wouldn't repair the phone if they deemed it was damaged by the owner. That is so vague and utterly stupid and the timeline is simply unacceptable. Customer service basically said "sorry" and that was all they could offer which was absolutely no help. So taking matters into my own hands, I get the screen replaced and it worked alright for 2 days. Then the camera somehow broke. Mind you I never once dropped my phone. Now just today I drop it from about hips height on thin carpet over hardwood and the screen is destroyed (no cracked glass, just the image). Literally the first time I've dropped it and the screen is gone. How can you design a piece of technology so flimsy in this day and age? So much for avoiding iPhones and Galaxies...I'm never buying a SONY product again, knowing that if something were to go wrong I will get absolutely no help. A waste of my time and money.
Really a terrible piece of mobile and a worst cutomer service. I have never shown this much hatred towards SONY. Xperia XA1 and their customer support are of no use.
In my 55 years on this planet, I have NEVER dealt with such a horrible service department as Sony has. Utterly a disgrace and a total waste of money and time with a Sony cell phone, horrible!
