How can Sony say it's a 16gb phone when Android system takes up so much on board memory plus not all apps can be moved to SD card crazy looks best phone in hand to look at but is tanked by os when is 7.0 update and will this give user more space?
JJust the other day I had 3GB or something. Now my Android System has doubled in space??
What is going on??
My Apps has 3.07GB of space used .... again ...?? I have uninstalled all apps I do not need, and I am left with 3.00GB space used by apps??
Yeah, whats up with the update taking all my internal space??
Same thing here (I'm from France). We have some regulation that protects customer when goods are not compliant with what the vendor says publicly about the product.
If you look here https://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/phones/xperia-xa/specifications/ you may find that Sony *publicly* announces we have 11GB left for our data. We have ALL experienced that reality is different: 5.5-6GB free after all updates done, inability to move apps to SD card because SONY forbid it, inability to remove apps because SONY installed them on /system...
So, as the product is not compliant wth publicly available information, I asked customer support for refund. Their answer: we can give you a free sd card...
SONY: that's just unfair, illegal, and cannot be accepted. For anyone in Europe having the same regulations as ours, ask for REFUND!
