I don’t believe anyone can help me with this as it seems to be a phone problem as opposed to a software problem, but I thought I would let everyone know and maybe if someone does know the answer then they could let me know. I have fitted a DAB head unit into to my car, when I plug my Xperia XA into charge into the 12v AUX socket, either using a USB bullet charger and cable, a USB Multi Charger and cable and a hard-wired USB Charger for the phone, the DAB Signal in my car drops from 4 bars to 0-1 bars and very bad reception to none at all, my wife’s phone drops the DAB signal as well, but only to 3 bars (HTC). The DAB stereo was fitted by me with a powered aerial correctly wired and soldered, but now I cannot charge my phone in the car if I want to listen to the radio. It has to be the phone because I can have lots fitted to the AUX socket but until I plug my phone in, the DAB signal is perfect.
