Hey all,
I'm new to this community as I just bought myself an Xperia 1 and have been experimenting with the cinema pro app.
I have some really great footage that I have made over the past few days, but I don't know how to get the footage into a shareable state that doesn't remove the "lut" that I used for filming.
I have created a final film within the app, but when I choose "share" and then select VLC, the look is removed and the entire footage is all washed out.
Any suggestions please, I have spent a lot of time with a gimbal getting great footage that is currently unusable and it is very disheartening.
Many thanks in advance!
You can movie them to the SD card, and export to Adobe Premier Pro, if that's any help.
And you can view them in the Album app, but some apps haven't the resources to run them in their original formats.
They can also be uploaded to Youtube.
Gilgamesh has a few on there, and posts on here, you could ask him.
You can always use the manual transfer to a PC way using a USB cable.
Please note:
It is NOT removing the LUT (look), the look is still there, but it's because it's a 10bit video.
Any app that doesn't support HDR10 will playback a washed out bright white video.
YouTube can convert to both HDR and SDR streams, though for my workflow, I either download it from the SD and run it through premier Pro, or if out in field still, run it through luma fusion on the iPad to convert to SDR
I don't bother creating a final film.
Simply copy the files within the named project for PC , then i work on them with Sony Vegas from there.
