I recently got my xperia 1 IV and have tried hooking it up to our Samsung TV via usb-c to hdmi converter, which works fine.
However, on my previous phone (samsung note 10) I got the option to run the phone in the tv's resolution instead of phone resolution to avoind letterboxing.
Due to the xperia's ratio of screen, the letterboxing is quite extreme atm and am looking if there is a way to natively make the phone switch to the tv's ration when connected (this also applies when connectingh via mirror screen)
At the moment I am using an app called Secondscreen, which works but I would prefer a more elegent built in solution.
Anyone have any ideas?
