Xperia 1 iv screen bleeding and overheating

Got the new Xperia 1 iv on 16th, already had to get it replaced with a strange brightness from the bottom left edge of the screen bleeding over the display and giving everything a green tinge. Got it replaced with a new device on 22-06 spending the next day setting it up. Lo and behold i look at the screen this evening and the same brightness bleeding over the display this time form the top edge. Also the phone is overheating with any demand on its resources. Really disappointed and I think I've had it with Sony phones. Screen going on two separate 1 iv and overheating with slightest camera use is unacceptable for a phone in this price range which is boasting so much about its quality screen and its camera functions

Yeah that really is sad especially when it got such great features, but not much software to work with it. Were you able to get the second one exchanged to? Or, you still have it?

Hi there, now on my third Xperia 1 iv......... No backlight bleeding on this one but a terrible green tint on lower brightness. Used identical settings on my older Xperia 1 ii and the difference is shocking: screen on the older device is soooooo much clearer and crisper and black is black, not washed out green. Sony seem to have dropped the ball big time with phone, a poor screen and scary overheating on a premium device from a premium brand is just not acceptable. It does have some great features, just let down badly on the execution

Hey @viking325, it'd be really helpful if you share with us a picture showing the issue. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to get rid of this green tint? Does it appear on everything? Does it also remain in safe mode as well? The safe mode can be enabled by following the steps here.
