A330 live view not showing full screen

Hi, really hoping someone can help.

I have an A330  DSLR which I've had for some time.   Recently someone else was 'having a  look' and has hit an option which I  have no idea how to clear.  I've  been through all the options to no  avail.

The problem is when using live  view, 1/4 of the screen is covered by  the bottom info bar (exposure?)  and another bar above which is just  black and contains no content.  This  means when taking shots you need  to compensate for the lost area of  screen as it still appears once that  shot is taken.  Playback for shots shows it in a reduced size.  I  thought the most obvious solution was a display option but this does not  seem to remove the problem.

I know this is going to be  a really stupidly easy solution but I'd be grateful if someone could  assist!  Photo attached showing the problem:

Is the smart teleconverter switched off?

Hi,

Someone else suggested this on another forum but I don't get it.  The smart teleconverter is just a zoom surely?  It's always been on since the day it was purchased.  All the settings are default and always have been as it's never been used 'professionally'.  Can you possibly explain further?  Thanks.
