Additional languages

Hello everyone,

I've recently bought a NEX-3 in the UK and just found out that only a few languages are available. Is it possible to install additional languages like Traditional Chinese?

Hi

Each range of NEX and pretty much the majority of products are made to suit each region that they are sold in eg Europe, Asia, America, Africa/Middle East so generally provided with the local languages which is why you would be unable to find the desired language on your product.

Sadly these are tired into the actual cameras firmware so unable to update it with an additional language pack. Using a firmware from another region can lead to a product being unusable. Ideally if you would require a NEX product in a specific language, it would need to be purchased from that region.
