Memory Card empty

I have recorded a movie-file; it is on the camera but when I connect the camera to my Mac mini, the card appears but there is NO recorded file on it. How come?

I have recorded a movie-file; it is on the camera but when I connect the camera to my Mac mini, the card appears but there is no recorded file on it. How come? Can somebody help me?
