NEX 5N upgrade firmware on MAC 10.5

Hi. I have downloaded the dmg file for the upgrade to ver 4 of the nex firmware. My macbook see,s the camera because it starts iPHOTO when the camera is connected.

I cannot get the firmware upgrade software to see the camera when connected and am unable to upgrade the firmware ( ver 1 on camera )

I have followed the procedures to the letter and even tried a soft boot of the camera but the software wont recognise it.

HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  PLEASE

Hi vTa1ch1,

I think there may be some confusion the NEX-5N v1 firmware is the lastest version..

However the NEX-5 has a v4 firmware update avialable but this update in NOT compatible with the NEX-5N..
