SEL50F18 Phase Detection upgrade

Does Sony have an indication when Phase detection focus will be available for the SEL50F18? Really need it. Thanks!

As with all firmware releases, no-one ever knows until they happen. It's a popular lens and I guess there's no reason to assume it won't...
