Sony Alpha NEX-5 FPS settings

Hi.

I have a Sony Alpha NEX-5 camera (PAL).

I can't change the recording FPS. It records 25 FPS video.

How can I change the settings to be able to record 50 FPS videos?

I've sent an email to the Sony support to ask help to solve this problem, but they told me that if the format is set to AVCHD, it is automatically recorded 50 FPS video.

the camera can only record 50I (interlaced) which will show up as 25fps in the details on Windows.

Thank you @IamNic, my bad that I did not know what 50i means..

At least now I know, it is only 25 fps. No problem, I mostly take photographs, I record videos rarely.
