Hi All,
Bought the set Dec 2016 and in the last 2 weeks it has developed constant banding/artifacting which is visible on all sources. Its pretty much across the whole screen but mostly visible in the middle.
PS5, Nintendo Switch, Sky Q and all video streaming apps.

It's visible on all scenes light and dark, more so on dark hence the example screenshots.
I have done a soft reset, factory reset and its on the latest firmware - It hasn't made a difference.
I have a 5 year warranty on it, but wanted opinions before I proceed.

I would recommend to get in touch with the customer support from Sony to check if this is within tolerances or not.

Hi Peter,
I did and they are in the process of getting me a replacement.
Just awaiting the details.
Was told I'd hear back in 24 hours, I didn't.
I called and they said I'd hear back in another 24 hours, I didn't.
I called just now and apparently its been escalated to the higher tech team and I should hear back in 48 hours.
Losing a bit of faith in the process if I'm honest.

I did, I've checked all settings to no avail.
Backlight bleed (whilst it happens on my set) isn't an issue given the size of it, it is largely unavoidable.
Waiting for the CRO team to get back to me with my options.
