Cannot seem to get freeview instead of Youview on my new AG9?

YouView and Freeview show you exactly the same programmes.

But if you want to disable YouView nevertheless, for other reasons:-

Android-Specific FAQ 1 in the sticky FAQs at the top of this section of the Community says:-

Press [Home] button on the remote control
    Go to 'Settings'
    Go to 'Channel Setup'
    Go to 'YouView Setup'
    Select 'Disable YouView'
    Select 'Yes' to confirm

You will lose all the YouView features, including the 7-day forward and 7-day backward EPG from which you can just click past programmes to watch them on catchup if they are flagged accordingly

You will lose the itv Hub and All4 Players

You will gain the Freeview 7-day forward (only) EPG

You will gain the ability to record

You will gain the ability to tune and watch satellite programmes

If you want the itv Hub and All4 Players back, on the Freeview side,  Hoshsadiq is your friend. Google him.
