Hi all
Just a quick question.
On previous tvs of other brands ive owned, when setting a reminder to watch something, for example, on ITV at 11pm, i was able to set the reminder for the entire series, However on my sony bravia it seems like it will only let me set a reminder for an episode at a time and not for the whole series.
Can anyone confirm if this is the case, or am i missing something?, you would think there would be a way to link an entire series to the reminder function.
Solved! Go to Solution.
It might not be the same guide as above but it should have the same functionality as well, you just need to locate it.
And it should be saved.
Not all of the TVs behave the same, so what's your TV model?
And while waiting for that, check this one: https://cutt.ly/a6h1A5Y.

Hi @graygerman
Which EPG (TV Guide) are you using? The native Sony TV guide or Live TV & Catch Up (YouView).
Its Freesat built in so its the standard Sony Tv EPG for freesat.
Im just wondering if theres any Android apps available, 3rd party apps, for setting reminders etc or whether we are just stuck with the native built in stuff
Hi @graygerman
I don't use satellite, but what happens if you highlight and simply press Select in the Guide for a programme you want to set a reminder for? On my terrestrial channels you can choose Reminder on the left hand side. However I couldn't see a way to set a series link reminder.
Yer thanks its pretty much like yours, with no series link. However, dissapointingly if i attach a Hard drive or big flash drive to record a show, the recording feature does allow to link the series lol. A shame they chose not to include such a basic function in the reminder settings. Never mind, thanks for the help bud, i guess having paid over a grand for this big screen Sony i assumed it would have everything, all the bells and whistles ha ha, tho all i truly got is a big screen tv with tons of issues such as reboot loops and an awfully slow EPG, 3 times ive had reboot loop and had to wipe tv and start again, if it happens again 1 more time im going to ask for a replacement, i did get a 5 year warranty, and the Sony Reboot loop is down to them not me.
