Hi 123DAC,

you don’t explain exactly what you are trying to do, so maybe if you could provide more details hopefully someone can help further..

However in the meantime maybe this link - How to use screen mirroring on my Bravia TV might offer some help..

I am trying  to cast my photos  from my Android phone  to my TV either  by Screen mirroring  or Direct WiFi (For some bizarre  reason my phone can't find my TV despite  being on the same WiFi network) Any help would  be most welcome.

Hi @123DAC   I don’t know if this helps https://helpguide.sony.net/tv/kaep1/v1/en/05_04.html?hl=photos , with Android you have to use Chromecast.

Apart from Chromecast and AirPlay there is also the Miracast protocol for screen mirroring.  Many Sony BraviaTVs have a Miracast server that you can activate from the Input button on the remote.  It is just a question of which protocol your phone can ouse

Ok, but your TV has Chromecast built in.  What phone?  Does it not have Chromecast? If not,  install Google Home if on Android!
