I took delivery of a replacement A95L TV today following a fault with the first one.
I have audio from e-arc going into the Sony HT-ZF9 soundbar. I've connected my 4k bluray player and Sky Q box directly to the TV and assumed this would give me audio to the soundbar as well as better picture quality. I have no audio.
Please help.

Hi @Blumine1818 I’m sorry I haven’t read the entire thread, so you may have already answered this question. What device have you connected to the ZF9 HDMI input to provide a signal? Else the TV will show no signal.

‘No Signal’ appears because the soundbar is not sending any audio or video to the TV, something which you may agree is the case. HDMI3, besides handling eARC, is an HDMI input in its own right, for anything the soundbar might send.
You don’t need to choose HDMI 3 to use ARC/eARC, and you shouldn’t, unless you are trying to play something from (via) the soundbar, such as from an HDMI input on the soundbar, for example.
(My UHD BluRay player is plugged directly into my soundbar, because the TV can’t play or pass DTS audio, but the soundbar can. In this case, the TV changes to HDMI3, and the video arrives at the TV that way, without any audio, as the soundbar is dealing with that).
But you want the sound to go from the TV. So try watching live TV, or a signal from the 4K player or the Sky Q box, (or any other HDMI input on the TV apart from HDMI3) and see if you then get audio sent to the soundbar, as it should be.

Hi
I have the XR-55A95L connected by e-arc to the XF9 soundbar.
Connected directly to the TV are a 4k player and Sky Q box

Is there a reason why I can't access any of the soundbar settings? When I press home on the ZF9 remote, nothing happens.

What do you expect to happen? What does the soundbar manual tell you should happen?
This soundbar is only ARC, not eARC, according to the Sony spec. But the manual says it does eARC, so we will believe that.

I have connected the 4k bluray player and Sky Q directly to the soundbar. Video signal from both, but now there's no sound whatsoever from TV speakers or soundbar.
Are you saying that it's because the soundbar HT-ZF9 is incompatible?

On the TV, yes, that’s what the manual thinks should happen.

I would be grateful if you would suggest the best way forward.
