Battery died in middle of software update , please help!

So two days ago I did the software update thinking I had full battery and then I noticed that instead of 100% it was 10%, so even when my computer told me it had to had at least 80% of battery I dismised it because I thought I had 100% of battery, so the phone turned off in middle of it and I tried charging it but it doesn't let me, the LED light is red all the time while charging and it shows a black screen. When I connect it to the computer it doesnt recognize the phone so I can't update , I can't do anything, can please anyone help me? ,did it happen to anyone else? what do I do?, I'm trying to avoid sending it to get fixed.

Connect your phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > leave your phone charging for 2 or 3 hours, even if it doesn't seemed to be charging > repair the phone with PCC

I forgot to mention that when I do charge it , the screen keeps turning on and off, showing this message that the software update failed, does it really charges?

Remove both the SIM and SD cards and try again.

If the problem persists you may have damaged the software of your phone the only option is to repair it using Sony PC companion.
