Messaging application

My default Sony messaging application was running properly till date. But now it has undergone some problem. The attach button on the left side of "Write Message" area don't open at all from where you can share stickers, sketches and much more. When I tap the "attach" button it directly opens the keyboard. It's just not showing attaching options at all. Please help!!

have you restricted the app permissions?

I've also heard that some 3:rd party apps can cause this. Do you have clean master installed?

Nope I have not restricted the app permissions. Well I have installed Facebook Messenger.
In settings it shows that i can use three apps as default messaging apps.
1.sony messaging app
2.hangout which is installed by default in my phone on purchase
3.Facebook messenger.
And i have selected sony messaging app as default.
Yes I have latest version of clean master installed.

Try to uninstall clean master and see if that helps. If not, could you try if it works in safe mode.

Hey!! I tried it in safe mode and it worked great.
So I uninstalled clean master and it works perfectly.

But after uninstalling clean master, when I checked my apps in settings there's still showing clean master and its saying not installed for this user.
So can I delete the clean master app permanently?

You probably have multiple users in your c5 and yes, I can answer about C5 sensors...

Spoiler: there is no gyroscope.
