How to get rid of "stripes" on display of DSC-S730 camera in photo camera mode?

Please help me out to get rid of "stripes" that show up on display when taking pictues. I have DSC-S730.

I'm trying to get info on horizontal stripes on my DSC-S980, so I will be very interested to see any reply you get.

I bought mine in May 2009, so its out of guarantee.

My problem only started last week and happens on every photo.
