Account problems
I am switching broadband providers and will lose access to the email address linked to my PSN account within 30 days.
I have been trying to update my PSN account with my gmail email address. However, I get a message telling me this gmail email address is linked to another Sony.com account. Unfortunately, I can no longer remember the password for this Sony account. I have requested a password reset. It then asks me a security question of my date of birth, which I cannot get past, as it states I have entered an incorrect date of birth.
I therefore am stuck - can you please assist?
Kind regards,
Ian.

Hi Dogstar,
welcome to the Sony User Community..
The simplest option might be to create a new Gmail account for you PSN login..😉

Thanks for the suggestion.
The reason I haven't done this is I've been reducing the number of email addresses I have.
I contacted Playstation Support directly and they have been really helpful.
The unknown account is apparently a PSN account and is now frozen, pending deletion in 30 days. After this time I should be able to use the "locked" email again.
