Laptop running slow

I have a Sony Vaio VPCCB3P1E

Intel i5 2.4GHz

Memory 6GB

Windows 7 SP1

VCSystemTray.exe using 50% CPU and 50% memory

Any ideas as to repair?

laptop seems pretty fast- first thing that comes to mind is to format it and just start fresh ....if its still really slow after the format then you may have to start looking at hard drive

I wouldn't recommend formatting because in doing this you cold inadvertently erase the recovery partition.

You could try downloading and running something like Ccleaner to see if that helps.
