Using firefox with Sony website

I cannot log in to 'My Sony' or the Forums from Firefox (v 3.6.1.2). I just get returned to the login page.

Also when browsing the products area the 'Select your local Sony Centre' pops up on every page and never remembers my selection. I've tried switching off AdBlock Plus but the problem persists. I cannot find a Sony 'Contact Us' link to report the problem. I don't have problems with any other websites.

I was about to order a new Sony laptop, but if problems like this exist I have doubts about software which might be on the machine.

Do other people had this problem?

P.S I notice that Google Chrome is preloaded as the default browser.

Have you got Cookies enabled in Firefox?

My overall Cookie default was Allow but for some reason Sony had crept into the Exceptions list as Blocked. I've no idea how this happened, but it's now corrected.

Thanks for helping my investigation. Sony is vindicated!
