The volume control has suddenly stopped functioning corectly! It is either loud & distorted or muted depending on the volume setting ie The sound level does not change with +/- input untill down to min (muted). This problem occured without warning whilst listening to DAB Radio - it all of a sudden sounded like a loud fog horn. The prob is present through out all functions (CD, Ipod, DAB & FM Radio). Can anybody point me in the right direction for a fix? The unit is approx 3years old. I also note the Model on the label is "HCD-BX70DBi" not CMT-BX70DBi can anyone shine a light on this?
