Have you tried or are you using purchased pre-recorded CD's at a guess the cd you are using could be wrong media type, corrupt or dirty..:smileyconfused:
If you are having the problem with all CD's then it's more than likely the cd drive or laser, I suggest you either contact your local repair specialist or Sony support for a repair or you could at your own risk try using a cd cleaner..
