BDv-4100 - How to get 5.1 surround from PC

Hello,

Can someone please explain how to connect to pc so i get 5.1 surround? I have been struggling with this for a week now, bought a cable thinking it would sort my problem (3.5mm to 2 RCA) but yet again, no surround.

I have tried:

ARC connection

Optical

3.5mm to RCA

Windows 10

MSI B450 Carbon Motherboard

BDV-E4100 hasn't ARC, so... You can 5.1 only by Optical but you have to choice the right Settings in you PC...

The BDV-E4100 does have an ARC connection - thats how i have it connected to my TV.

If i use the optical connection from pc to the 4100 my PC does not output 5.1, the option is shaded out

Sorry, my fault, I checked the Specifications where ARC is not present and not the Manual... 🤗
