L2 Redials on Android Auto Connection

I'm having an issue with my L2. About half the time I plug in the USB cable in my car for Android Auto, it automatically redials the last called number. Is there a way to have that not happen? It's pretty embarrassing sometimes.

I guess I just need to get a different brand of phone.
