Ring volume not working

I have no ring volume and the adjustment is greyed out.

Hi griz1,

I'm very sorry to hear about this. Is it just the slider for the ring volume that is grayed out or is it the other sliders aswell?

First of all I would advice that you try to restart your device in safe mode in order to see if you can adjust the volume slider there. All apps downloaded from Play Store is deactivated in safe mode and by doing this you can see if there is a downloaded app causing the volume slider to be grayed out. 

If the volume slider is grayed out in safe mode I suggest that you try to perform a software repair in your phone using the USB-cable, Xperia Companion and a computer. You can find more information and guides on how to perform a software repair here.
